I believe in "back to basics" care. My emphasis is on medical and family history, proper diet, weight, exercise, alcohol use, mental health and dealing with addictive behaviors in an open way. I am open to alternative care if that is the patient's preference. I am conservative with regard to medication, especially newer ones. I believe patients should be involved and informed in their care decisions.
