Dr. Dines was born in New York and raised in California.  He is married and has three children.  Dr. Dines and his wife, Eva, met during his residency.  Eva has her B.S. in nursing and together they enjoy spending time with their children. 

Dr. Dines graduated from UCLA in Irvine, California with a B.S. in Biological Sciences; he attended Medical School at the University of California in San Diego, where he received his M.D. in June, 1983.  After graduation he moved on to the University of Southern California.  He received his degree in Internal medicine in June, 1986.  Dr. Dines completed his GI Fellowship in July, 1988.

Making his way north to the Puget Sound area, Dr. Dines joined Stevens Hospital and DDC in Edmonds.  He has been an active member of the medical staff since 1988.  Since 1989, Dr. Dines has also been a voluntary staff member in Gastroenterology at the University of Washington Medical Center.
