Additional Information:About General Neurology at SNI
Neurologists at Cherry Hill provide consultative evaluations and diagnoses, develop treatment plans and follow patients over time. A key element of the program is the close partnership between a neurologist at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute (SNI) and a patient’s primary-care physician, the individual who is essential to long-term monitoring and regular routine follow up.
The specialists at Cherry Hill are able to evaluate and treat the broad spectrum of neurologic disease, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, tremors, dementia and headache. Additionally, they are fellowship-trained in electromyography (EMG) and, therefore, have added expertise in the study and treatment of neuromuscular diseases, such as Guillain BarrĂ© and other neuropathies, ALS and carpal tunnel syndrome. The program accepts referrals to perform EMG studies or to take on a more comprehensive role of performing the study, and diagnosing and treating the patient.
