Dr. Schmidt is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon. He was voted a Top Doctor by his peers in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine and was nominated by his peers to Best Doctors in America, as well as Best Doctors in Washington State.

He completed his dermatology residency training, as well as his fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. He also completed a dermatology residency in South Africa, prior to completing a second dermatology residency at the University of Colorado.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, International Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology.

His practice is focused on Mohs Micrographic Surgery and the early detection, treatment and management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.
