She graduated from medical school at the Federal University of Espirito in Brazil, and completed residency programs in Panama City, Panama and at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Additionally, she earned her Masters in Public Health from St. Louis University where she was the assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Community and Family Medicine. Dr. Urriola believes that health care can be enhanced through special attention to lifestyle that includes healthy choices. She takes a holistic approach to care, and incorporates proven natural practices within a contemporary medical regiment. She speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese, and has practiced medicine in Latin America. Dr. Urriola enjoys hiking, chocolate and cooking healthy ethnic foods. She is married with two children.
