Cafes and espresso
There are four options at Swedish/First Hill:

• Market Café, B-Floor: Open 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays. 
• The Lobby Café, Main Lobby: Open 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed weekends and holidays.
• The Caffe Osseo, First Floor Lobby, First Hill Orthopedic Institute: Open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed weekends and holidays.
• A la Carte dining service is available for patients, guests and staff 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., seven days a week. Call ext. 5-5555 from any internal phone.

The Swedish Art Walk
Pick up a Swedish Art Guide in the main lobby and take a stroll to see the hundreds of original works of art that grace the walls of public spaces at Swedish. This largely donated public collection stems from the hospital’s commitment to provide an enriching environment for our patients and their visitors.

Health information
Swedish offers an excellent variety of books, brochures, videos and audio tapes on virtually every health topic at the James B. Douglas Health Education Center, near the main lobby. Stop by Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information or to request health-related materials, call 206-386-2502.

Chapel and Chaplain services
Our chapel is located just off the main lobby and is open 24/7. If you need a chaplain before 5 p.m. on weekdays, call 206-386-2082. After 5 p.m. and on weekends, call 206-386-6000.

Pharmacy, cash machine, etc.
At the main entrance, you’ll find a pharmacy, cash machine, mailboxes, newspaper stands and public telephones.
