Interventional Radiology
This program operates under the direction of Dr. Sanjiv Parikh and is located on the Cherry Hill Campus of Swedish Medical Center
The Interventional Radiology Fellowship is a six-month fellowship under the supervision and guidance of Interventional Radiologists from RADIA. Dr. Sanjiv Parikh, Dr. John Ho and Dr. Geoffrey Ferguson at the Swedish / Cherry Hill Campus will supervise the Fellow.
This training program will provide the fellow with a skill set to perform endovascular interventional procedures on both arterial and venous systems. Procedures will include arterial and venous access percutaneously, femoral and brachial approach, and diagnostic arteriography of all peripheral vessels including carotid, renal, mesenteric, aortic, upper and lower extremity and all branches of aorta. Fellows are trained in endovascular interventions that include angioplasty, stenting, and thrombolysis.
The Fellow will document experience with an ongoing case log, which will be evaluated periodically by the supervising physician. The Program Director will evaluate the log of procedures at the end of the program and submit a document that will record the procedures performed during the training period.
