Organ Transplantation Research
In conjunction with the Organ Transplant Program at Swedish, the Organ Transplant Research Department is actively involved in clinical research and constantly evaluates new drugs as they become available for investigational or clinical use.
It also continues to develop relationships with sponsors that aim to reduce the probability of organ rejection and improve the success of transplantation.
Our philosophy is to help every person with organ failure realize his or her highest possible level of health and well-being. Our patients are crucial members of the transplant team, and we strive to develop individual care plans that suit the personal needs of our patients and their families.
