The Swedish Research Center supports and administers research activities throughout the Swedish Medical Center five campus locations. Founded in 1996, it serves established research programs in cancer, heart, headache, HIV/AIDS, organ transplant, perinatal, pediatrics, neurology, pain, rheumatology and many other specialties.
At any given time, there are more than 600 research studies being conducted by Swedish-affiliated clinicians and other investigators, making Swedish an active participant in the research community.
