The National Research Corporation annually recognizes the nation's top hospitals across 186 markets.

According to the NRC's 2010 survey results, consumers in the Seattle area ranked Swedish at the top of the list based on four essential consumer metrics:

Winners are determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings collected in the company's annual NRC Healthcare Market Guide® study. The 2009/2010 NRC Healthcare Market Guide study surveyed roughly 270,000 households.
