Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care Center Opens Feb. 17; Public Open House on Feb. 12, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

MILL CREEK, WASH., Feb. 10, 2011 – Health care keeps evolving and the south Snohomish County area is about to get a completely different type of medical facility. Swedish this month opens a new freestanding emergency department (E.D.) and ambulatory care center (ACC) at13020 Meridian Ave. S., just off Interstate 5. A community open house is planned on Sat., Feb. 12 from10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the first patients will be treated on Thursday morning, Feb. 17.
