SEATTLE, Oct. 8, 2007 -- Today's issue of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer featured a front-page article about the relatively new concept of hospitals and other cancer-care providers beginning to offer former oncology patients access to cancer survivorship programs.
Linda Hohengarten, director of oncology nursing for the Swedish Cancer Institute (SCI), as well as a former SCI patient, were interviewed for the piece.
