SEATTLE, Oct. 22, 2007 -- The front page of today's Seattle Post-Intelligencer (P-I) features an article about three different clinical trials going on in Seattle that are looking at whether a causal relationship might exist between aura migraine relief and the repair of a common heart defect called a patent foramen ovale or PFO.
Mark Reisman, M.D., who is director of Cardiovascular Research at Swedish and national interventional cardiologist principal investigator on one of the studies -- the MIST II Trial -- was interviewed for the article along with a local woman who is participating in the study.
