Jon Franklin, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with the Ballard Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic, a division of Orthopedic Consultants of Washington. He was assistant chief of staff for Swedish Medical Center/Ballard Campus from 2000 to 2002. Dr. Franklin has been on staff at Swedish since 1989.
Dr. Franklin is board-certified in orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Franklin earned his bachelor's degree from Harvard College in Cambridge, Mass. He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington, where he completed an internship and his residency. Dr. Franklin also completed a fellowship in sports medicine with the Salt Lake Knee Research Foundation in Salt Lake City.
